Whether it's a state regulation or simply a way to encourage responsible AI use in the classroom, you may want anything Sparky generates to be recognisable as AI-generated. Flint can add a small, semi-transparent Flint mark to the bottom-right corner of every image Sparky creates, and to every slide in a presentation it builds.

This retained example shows the earlier bottom-left text banner. Current watermarks use the small, semi-transparent Flint icon at the bottom right.
Staff school owners can change this, including a teacher who created the active term; the Admin label is not required. Ownership of an older term alone is not enough. Student school owners don't have access to Sparky customizations.
Turn the watermark on
Watch: Review separate image and slide watermark drafts
The walkthrough reviews separate image and slide watermark drafts without saving a school-wide change.
- Click Admin in the left sidebar.
- Click Settings, then Sparky customizations.
- Turn on Add watermark to AI-generated images. A preview appears underneath so you can see where the mark lands.
- To watermark presentations too, turn on Add watermark to AI-generated slides. Its own preview appears underneath.
- Click Save in the top right.
Both switches are independent, so you can watermark images without watermarking slides, or the other way round.
Turn the watermark off
Follow the same steps and turn the switch off instead, then click Save. Images and slides Sparky generates from then on come without the mark; anything already created keeps the watermark it was made with.
