How do I stop Flint sign-up confirmation emails from getting blocked?

Guide for IT to ensure that sign-up confirmation emails from Flint are not blocked.

Updated October 6, 2026

When you create a Flint account with an email address and password, Flint sends a confirmation email. It comes from Flint at support@mail.flintk12.com and asks you to confirm your email address before you can continue.

This confirmation step is separate from signing in with Google or Microsoft. For problems with those sign-in methods, see common login errors.

If it hasn't arrived after a few minutes, check your spam and quarantine folders first. Ask your IT team to check whether your school's mail filter blocked the message. These sender details can help them locate it:

  1. The sender address support@mail.flintk12.com
  2. The sending domain mail.flintk12.com

If your mail system requires an IP allowlist, ask support@flintk12.com to confirm the current sending IP addresses before changing the rule. Sending addresses can change; an old address is not evidence that today's messages come from that IP. Google's guide to adding IP addresses to allowlists in Gmail explains the Google Workspace controls.

Once your IT team confirms the allowlist is active, return to the sign-in page, enter the same email address, click Next, and try signing in with the password you chose. If your account is still unconfirmed, Flint sends a fresh confirmation link.
