Everything You Need to Know About Flints Gradebook!

A guide on how to use our gradebook tool and where to access it.

What is it?

Gradebook is a centralized source that provides you with all of your students' grades within a class. It's a powerful tool that allows you to get a quick overview of your students' grades and makes record keeping easy.

Why is it important?

Gradebook helps teachers track student progress, inform instructional practices, and find trends throughout their classrooms. It'll save teachers time on grading without needing to go into individual activities to see their student's progress.

It'll also help teachers individualize student learning by allowing them to target specific skills. Whether it's additional scaffolding or enriching activities, you can your Gradebook to support all of your learners!

How to access it

  1. Navigate to your class

  2. On the left navigation bar, you will see "Gradebook"

  3. From there you will see all of the activities and student grades in one spreadsheet

Review, Filter and Sort

  1. You can sort by clicking on the arrows next to the student name or activity.

  2. Hover over the grade to see when it was submitted or when the grade was last adjusted.

  3. Show the overall percentage on the grade by clicking on the "Show scores (%)" toggle.

  4. To filter by student or activity, click on the filter button on the top right corner of the Gradebook.

Editing Grades

  1. To edit a grade, click on a students grade

  2. It will bring you to the session

  3. Change the grade by clicking on the grade at the top right of the session

Downloading CSV Files

  1. At the top of your Gradebook, next to the filter, you can download a CSV of the Gradebook.
