How to view archived chats and sessions

Learn how admins and teachers are able to view deleted/archived chats and sessions on Flint.

This article shows how you can view archived chats and sessions on Flint. There are three ways to do this:

  1. Activity analytics dashboard

  2. Going to your profile

  3. Using search

  1. Go to "My activities" on the sidebar.

  2. Click on the activity where you want to view archived sessions.

  3. Scrolls down to the section titled "Sessions." This is where you see student submissions.

  4. Click on "Sessions." You'll see a dropdown menu where you can select "Sessions" (the default), "My sessions," and "Archived sessions."

  5. Click "Archived sessions."

  6. Click on the archived session you want to view.

Going to your profile

  1. Click your name on the bottom of the sidebar.

  2. Click "My profile."

  3. On the righthand side of your screen, you'll see a column that includes "My sessions" and "My chats."

This is where you can view what sessions and chats you have archived. Note that this only shows you your own sessions/chats, not those from other users.

To view your archived sessions on your profile

  1. Click "My sessions." You'll see a dropdown menu where you can select "My sessions" and "My archived sessions."

  2. Click "My archived sessions."

  3. Select the archived session you want to view.

You can also click "Search" next to "My sessions," type in the name of the session, and find the archived session in search results. Archived sessions will always be last on the search results list, so you may have to scroll to the bottom.

To view your archived chats on your profile

  1. Click "My chats." You'll see a dropdown menu where you can select "My chats" and "My archived chats."

  2. Click "My archived chats."

  3. Select the archived session you want to view.

Via search

You can also click "Search" next to "My chats," type in the name of the chat, and find the archived chat in search results. Archived chats will always be last on the search results list, so you may have to scroll to the bottom.

Using search

  1. Go to the sidebar and click "Search."

  2. In the search box, write the name of the session or chat. You should see search results popup.

  3. Click the archived session or chat you want to view.

Note: Archived sessions and chats will always be last on the search results list, so you may have to scroll to the bottom.
