Open the activity

Click "Activity settings" in the top right

Tell the "Build with Flint" chat what changes you want to make.

You can treat this chat like a conversation with a teaching assistant. Give Flint feedback about what it's doing wrong or what it can do better. You can also ask it to brainstorm new ideas with you (e.g. "What are three ways I can make this activity more engaging?") and ask about the activity's intended behavior (e.g. "In what ways will you be helpful to students?").

Revision requests can include:

  1. adjusting the reading level (e.g. "make the language simpler")

  2. focusing on certain topics (e.g. "stick to international affairs and foreign policy")

  3. having personas (e.g. "talk like a pirate")

  4. changing the language (e.g. "make this in French")

  5. switching the roles of AI activity and student (e.g. "let the student play the role of the person being interviewed")

  6. changing the topic entirely (e.g. "let's talk about WWII instead of the US Civil War")

Make sure to test out your activity in the preview and update it once you're happy with it. Please feel free to revise the activity's behavior more than once. It may take multiple tries to get the exact desired behavior.
