After your school administrator activates a new term in Flint, you'll notice that the activities that you made previously are not in this term — it's a blank slate— but don't worry!

If you'd like to re-use or remix activities from a past term (e.g. you're a teacher teaching the same class as last year), here are the steps you can follow to import activities from a previous term in Flint.

Note: Sessions from previous activities will not be imported, only the base activities with their settings. You can see old activities, chats, and sessions by switching to a previous term view. Simply click on your workspace name to switch.

First, navigate to where you'd like to import your activities

You can import activities either into your "My activities" page or into any class group page.

Then, click "Import activities"

If you're on the home page, this button is in the top right next to Sparky.

On the group page, this button is nested under the three dots in the top bar:

Select the workspace and term to import from

You can select from activities from any workspace or previous term. Once you've selected your workspace and term, click "Next."

Choose how you want to import activities

You can either duplicate activities, meaning it will be a copy, or move activities, meaning the original version from a previous term (and their sessions) will now exist in your current workspace.

Congrats! You've now successfully imported an activity.
