This guide covers how you can invite teachers directly to your Flint workspace using their emails. This process is geared toward new pilot groups of Flint that want to add specific teachers.

If you need more information on other ways to invite a large number of teachers and students, you can check out our articles on whitelisting email domains and importing users via LMS or SIS systems.

In your new workspace, click "Settings and members" and then "Manage members"

This can be found in the left-hand sidebar in Flint.

Add the teachers' emails in the "Members" bar

You can add all the emails at once, separated by spaces or commas.

Assign the users the "teacher" role

To make sure these users have the teacher permissions, assign them the role of "teacher" using the "Assign a role" dropdown. For more on the different roles available in Flint, see here.

Click "Update" and notify the teachers

The members list will update to show the new teachers you've added. Make sure you click "Update" to save these changes.

Once you've updated, you'll be given the option to notify the added teachers by email. If you click "Yes", Flint will send them an invitation email that includes a link to join your workspace.
