The "Limit access hours" feature allows administrators to limit student access to the Flint workspace to specified times and days. This feature is designed to help students stay focused and avoid procrastination by restricting access to the workspace outside of designated hours. This also enables schools to ensure they have personnel awake and available to assist students if the need arises.
Note: Only administrators have access to set and edit this feature. It is not visible to or editable by students or teachers.
How to do it -
Go to the “Workspace settings”
Click “Access controls”
Toggle on limited access hours
Set time zone, times, and days of the week. Teachers and admin will still be able to access Flint outside of these times.
Click update and inform students.Make sure to click the "Update" button to save your changes. Also, make sure to communicate these restrictions with your students. Flint will not send out any information notifying them of these access changes.
