What are user profile learning reports?

User profile learning reports are personalized summaries of a student's learning journey in Flint. They aggregate data from all the student's activities, sessions, and chats to provide AI-powered insights, usage analytics, and next steps.

Learning reports are automatically generated and updated as students complete more activities. The more a student uses Flint, the more accurate and detailed their report becomes. Reports are updated weekly.

Who can view learning reports?

Learning reports are available to:

  1. Students, who can only view their own learning report

  2. Admins, who can view any student's learning report within their workspace

Note: Learning reports are only available in paid or trial workspaces.

How do you view a learning report?

How you can view a user profile learning report depends on whether you are a student or an admin.

How a student can view their learning report

Students can view their own learning report directly from their profile.

  1. Click your profile picture or name

  2. Click "My profile"

  3. Review your "Overview" page

    You'll find you learning report on the Overview tab!

How admin can view student learning reports

Admins can view any student's learning report through search.

  1. Click the search icon

  2. Type the student's name

  3. Click their name to open their profile

  4. Navigate to the "Overview" tab

Note: Currently, you cannot access student profiles from Workspace Settings > members. Use the search or group members method instead!

What is included in a user profile learning report?

There are three main components to a learning report:

Reports are generated weekly on Sundays and reflect activity from the current term.

Strengths and areas for improvement

At the top of the Overview tab, you'll see Sparky's AI-generated analysis of the student's learning. This includes:

  • Strengths: A summary of topics and skills where the student has shown consistent understanding across their activities.

  • Areas for improvement: Topics or skills that the student may need additional practice with, based on patterns across their sessions.

  • Next objectives: Recommended focus areas for the student's continued learning journey.

Latest insights

Below strengths and areas for improvement, you'll find Latest insights, a collection of key moments from the student's conversations with Sparky.

Each insight shows:

  • A summary of what the student demonstrated or explained

  • A snippet of their actual response

  • A link to view the full conversation

Click View all to see the complete list of insights across all activities.

Follow-up learning activities

At the bottom of the Overview tab, Sparky suggests Follow-up Learning Activities based on the student's learning profile.

These are pre-built activities designed to help the student:

  • Reinforce strengths

  • Practice areas that need improvement

  • Explore topics at the right difficulty level
