What is it?

Moderation categories allow teachers and administrators to monitor their classrooms and ensure student safety. It gives the owners of a group or workspace the ability to identify which types of categories will trigger an email notification. Moderation categories are automatically all on, but you have the ability to turn any of them off.

Why is it important?

Moderation categories are important to ensure that our students are engaging in appropriate and safe chats with our AI, Sparky. If Sparky notices that a student is initiating in any activity under the moderation categories, the group or workspace moderator will be immediately notified.
