Where it is due to state regulations or wanting to promote more responsible AI usage in the classroom, you may want to control whether AI-generated images display a watermark badge. On Flint, school administrators can toggle this setting on or off. When enabled, all AI-generated images will include a watermark that looks like this:
Here's how you do it:
Click School Settings.
Click Sparky customizations.
Toggle on "Add watermark to AI-generated images."
Click Save.
How to disable the watermark
To remove the watermark badge from AI-generated images, follow the same steps and toggle the setting off:
Click School Settings.
Click Sparky customizations.
Toggle off "Add watermark to AI-generated images."
Click Save.
Important: Disabling the watermark removes the "AI-generated content" badge from images — it does not change the fact that the images were created by AI. Students and teachers should still be aware that images generated by Sparky are AI-produced, even if the visual badge is not shown.
Who can change this setting?
Only school administrators can enable or disable the watermark setting. Teachers and students do not have access to School Settings.
